The bus at InnoTrans 2024

Not only a lot of rail vehicles (see our report: https://www.urban-transport-magazine.com/en/innotrans-2024-the-overview/ ), but once again, electric buses can be seen in the outdoor area at InnoTrans on the Berlin exhibition grounds. ‘Bus Display’ is the name of the specially reserved area in the summer garden, where 11 buses with alternative drive systems will be presented live to all interested parties on a 500-metre circuit.

The Chinese BYD Group will be there for the first time, presenting three buses, including the B12 electric bus, which boasts a range of up to 600 kilometres. Hungarian manufacturer Ikarus is presenting two electric buses: the Ikarus 120e – the V4 version of the 12-metre city bus – and the Ikarus Midi bus, an 8-metre electric bus. Other highlights include the ARTHUR ZERO hydrogen bus from ARTHUR BUS, the E-Bus 3.0 from EBUSCO and an autonomous bus from Karsan. Exhibitors such as SBRS and Mont-Ele will be showcasing their latest charging infrastructure solutions.

InnoTrans is open from 24 to 27 September 2024.
