InnoTrans 2024 – the overview

InnoTrans – the world’s leading trade fair for the international rail and mobility industry – opens its doors at the Berlin Exhibition Centre from 24 to 27 September 2024.

2940 exhibitors from 59 countries present their products and services on around 200,000 square metres of exhibition space, with a total of 226 world premieres. The offer range from the battery-hydrogen fuel cell locomotive to an AI-supported algorithm for timetables and barrier-free boarding in long-distance transport to anti-graffiti film for glass. 133 vehicles are on display on the 3.5 kilometres of track in the outdoor area of the extensive trade fair.

Modernised S-Bahn Köln/Cologne, built new by Adtranz/Bombardier, Siemens 1999/2000 and extensively modernised by DB Regio for use in the Rhineland area. All 40 trains previously operated in Hanover, 24 came to Cologne and 16 to Munich.
